By Decision No. 521 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 December 2024, March 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of the year 2025 were designated as Novruz holiday days, and March 30–31 were designated as Ramadan holiday days.
In addition, by Decision No. 23 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 15 February 2025, in order to ensure the continuity of working and non-working days, the working days of 27 and 28 March 2025 were respectively swapped with the rest days of 10 March and 1 April, and as a result, a consecutive 12-day non-working period was established starting from 20 March.
Thus, 19 March 2025 is considered the last working day of the month.
Taking into account the limited number of working days in March 2025, it is deemed advisable to fulfill all obligations related to taxes and social contributions to the state budget for March of the current year no later than 17 March 2025, in order to ensure the consistency of tax and social contribution payments.
